Things we inspect before we replace the garage door springs.

We Inspect all moving parts related the garage door and operator to make sure everything is good condition and installed the way it is supposed to be. We inspect the wood behind the spring bracket, torsion tube, door sections for cracks, #1 hinges , #2 hinges, #3 hinges, rollers, cables, end bearing plates, vertical tracks, horizontal track and back hangs. We also look the garage door operator.

Garage Door

We Inspect the wood the wood the garage door spring bracket is attached too. If a crack is there then the garage door spring bracket could come out and the door could fall down.
We Inspect the garage door torsion tube to make sure it is in good condition.
We Inspect the end bearing plates to make sure the bearing are in good shape and can turn freely when the garage door is being used. If you have these plastic we have metal ones that we can install that are much better.
We Inspect the garage door spring cables and make sure there are no loose strands. If the cables fail then the garage door will fall on one side. Very dangerous.
We Inspect the garage door garage door rollers and make sure the they are in good condition and they can roll. If the rollers are worn out when the door in open it does not sit in the track correctly and it could call down in the opening and hurt someone or something.
We Inspect the garage door hinges on the garage door. We look at all the hinges on the door. #1 hinge, #2 hinge, #3 hinge, #4 hinge and all the center hinges in the middle of the door. 
We Inspect the garage door bottom fixture to make sure it in good condition and not worn out and out of adjustment.
We Inspect the garage door garage door sections to and make sure they don't have any cracks. If they do have cracks we can always install a metal bar all the way across the section called a strut. This fix will the make door work a lot better and not sag in the middle of section.

Garage Door Opener

We Inspect the garage door opener rail to make sure the chain or belt condition. We also look at the carriage.
We Inspect the garage door opener gear to check to condition to make sure it is not worn out
We Inspect the garage door opener photo eyes to make they are lined up correctly and seeing the other eye on the other side of the garage door. We also make sure it is 6 inches and lower and the garage door code.
